GiP - Design and Configuration of Industrial Production Systems
Content:
The course gives an overview of the central problems of strategic production management and shows how these can be solved using analysis, simulation and optimization models. Case studies from various industries will be used to deepen and practically train the contents in exercise units and group exercises.
Based on the reference model of factory planning according to VDI 5200, the following questions are addressed:
- How should companies design their production sites?
- What determines the selection, dimensioning and arrangement of the production facilities?
- How can production processes be mapped, simulated, evaluated and improved?
Other students especially liked this:
- learning success
- practical and up-to-date
- guest lecture and excursion
